How has the New Year been for you so far as an artist?
SEBA - We started this year at one of the most iconic venues in NYC "The Bitter End" with our album release party, great show and a nice way to start this 2022. We also performed at Rockwood Music Hall, and there's more coming up, it's been great so far.
Can you tell us how you've transformed from the beginning to now as an artist?
SEBA - From the moment that I started writing my own song and putting a band together I knew it was not going to be easy and still not easy, I didn't know what to do but years of playing with other bands and artists showed me that as an independent artist you have to be in constant move, going places, showing your face at gigs, jam sessions and try to meet the person that books shows and get a gig. I used to be shy until I got used to doing it often 'cause if you don't put yourself out there nobody will notice you.
How did you come up with your latest project?
SEBA - I Always wanted to express my feelings, my thoughts, and share the story of my life in different ways. So I started to write them down, at that moment I was the guitarist of another band and with the drummer and the bass player we had a really good chemistry and we loved to jam together so I asked them if they would like to join me and be part of my Blues Rock album and that's how we got started.

Do you think where you live impacts how your music is made?
SEBA - Yes, absolutely. Music is the result of life experiences and not only where you live, also the people around you, friends, family, people you occasionally meet and the different cultures will be an influence on your lyrics and your compositions.
What was the inspiration to make music your career?
SEBA - The desire of playing the guitar, I wanted to play, play and play with everybody and everywhere, no matter what style of music
How do you want to shape your career?
SEBA - As a Blues musician I understand that the genre is not that popular these days but I also know that there's a lot of people looking for meaningful music. Music that they grew up with, music that represents them, music that they can listen to, understand and be touched by it in different ways.
Do you work on a tight timeline always or do you go with the flow when it comes to your music?
SEBA - Everyday I pick up the guitar and play, practice, study or write music. I don't work on a timeline, I'm really dedicated because I really enjoy playing so it comes natural for me to wake up in the morning and pick up my guitar and play
How did your latest title of your album come to be?
SEBA - It was my first recording so I thought that as a presentation card a self titled album was a good idea.
Is it hard to let go of the music when it is done?
SEBA - You never let your music go, everytime you play live you bring them back, some songs get played more than others but they live in the recordings forever, that's why we still listen to jazz recordings like "Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis to keep this music alive.
