Thank you for taking this interview! How has the New Year been for you so far as an artist?

Thank you Bsquared for having me. This year has been bittersweet for me in that I have had some ups and downs but I am eager to get back to creating my next album soon.

Can you tell us how you've transformed from the beginning to now as an artist?

When I started singing it was casual and fun. I didn't really delve too deep into the details of creating masterpieces, I just went with it, now I find myself pushing boundaries and going above and beyond to make people feel those goosebumps I often feel when creating my albums.

How did you come up with your latest project?

My latest project which I am currently working on is inspired by different era's of music that combines notes, different vocal stylings, and harmonies together in a project I call "Closer".

Where are you from originally?

I am from Boston, Massachusetts but spent most of my youth until my teens on Cape Cod with my Grandmother.

Where do you live now?

I rarely settle in one place for too long. I am a bird that goes where the wind takes me. I love the freedom of movement.

Do you think where you live impacts how your music is made?

I believe moving around and constantly traveling as I do has inspired my music greatly. It helps me see different perspectives and keeps me from being too repetitive.

What was the inspiration to make music your career?

Music isn't my main career but it is definitely a great part of my life and makes it possible for me to continue doing the things I love such as donating to charities, volunteering, and supporting other artists.

How do you want to shape your career?

I hope to continue to move forward so I can continue to do more for this world even if it is just a little at a time.

Do you work on a tight timeline always or do you go with the flow when it comes to your music?

I used to push myself to release an album and at least 2 singles a year. Now, I think the more time I spend on producing and recording the better the overall feel of the album as a whole.

How did your latest title of your music come to be?

When choosing a title I find myself searching for a deeper meaning, each album is an extension to the album previous to it which makes for an interesting story if people pay close attention.

Is it hard to let go of the music when it is done?

Yes, always. I grow attached to each album, often listening over and over again thinking about how I could have tweaked it here or there just a bit more.

Do you feel an emotional attachment to your music?

I certainly do. Almost all of my songs tell a poetic story of my deepest feelings in a metaphorical type of way. I never come straight out and say exactly what I mean, I leave that to the interpretation of my listeners. Those who are smart will catch on and eventually have an "Oh" moment and those moments are what get me emotional as well.

How would you describe your music in one word to someone who hasn't listened to it yet?

Where do they go to listen NOW?

Most of my fans listen on Soundcloud but you can find my music everywhere.

What has been the best fan reaction to your music?

When fans send me videos of them singing the lyrics to my songs. It's surreal!

Is there anything exciting coming up for you?

Well besides this ultra cool interview coming out soon, I am excited to get back into the studio so I can release the first single from my upcoming album Closer.
