Thank you for taking this interview! How has the New Year been for you so far as an artist?

As a band, it’s been great to see the local music scene picking up again, getting out and playing shows, it’s been great to be surrounded by live music. Can you tell us how you've transformed from the beginning to now as an artist? We’ve grown through experience, we’ve had some awesome opportunities to play some rocking shows and we’ve been in the studio cooking up exciting stuff, we’ve got two tracks in the pipeline which we are excited to be releasing later this year. How did you come up with your latest project? Blood, sweat and gin mostly. We’ve drawn inspiration from our experiences as individuals and musicians and poured it all out into this passion project, we’re really hoping everyone digs our new material. Where are you from originally? Johannesburg – South Africa Where do you live now? Johannesburg – South Africa Do you think where you live impacts how your music is made? Probably more how it’s received, South African crowds are awesome, we have such a good time meeting people who like our music and listening to other South African bands, we’ve really got some phenomenal talent out here. What was the inspiration to make music your career? We realised that we all just clicked with one another and made the decision to make music our career when we all jammed together for the first time and we haven’t turned back since! How do you want to shape your career? We have a lot of passion projects that we want to get started and if we can keep on making music alongside those, that would make us the happiest bunch of musos! Do you work on a tight timeline always or do you go with the flow when it comes to your music? We very much like to go with the flow when it comes to creating new music that we’re happy with. There are times when a bit of pressure helps the creative process, but the best art is made in the right environment. How did your latest title of your music come to be? We like writing about experiences from our personal lives and stories from back in the day and that pretty much influences most of our song titles! Is it hard to let go of the music when it is done? As an artist, it’s hard to decide when the music is done, you’ll always find a new way to play that chord or a new way to hit that note, it’s always evolving, so it can be hard to let it go. Do you feel an emotional attachment to your music? In some ways, there are songs that we all relate to differently, but we just really try to have a good time and transfer that feeling through to an audience. The emotion we want to evoke is fun and exciting and that’s mostly because that’s how we feel when we are making our music. How would you describe your music in one word to someone who hasn't listened to it yet? Fun! Where do they go to listen NOW? We’re still in the recording process and putting our first EP out, we hope to have a few tracks under our belt by the end of the year, keep an eye out on our socials for release dates! What has been the best fan reaction to your music? Once a very lovely gentleman came up to us and asked us to sign his chest. We knew that it would be uphill from there on. Is there anything exciting coming up for you? We’re excited to have one of our tracks featured on the Rumours Rock Album, which is a compilation album of a lot of the bands on the local gigging circuit in Johannesburg. The album is being released at the end of May/early June. The track is called Oh No. There are a bunch of great local artists on the album and we are all really excited about the project and it’s being produced by Studio 31. Are you performing the song anywhere LIVE? We’ll be playing the song at the album launch party on the 28th of May at Rumours Lounge! Give us all your socials and links so fans can link up with you!
