We are so excited to see what this year has in store for you, Nancy!!

Hi Nancy! Great to have you here!

Hello! Thank you so much for having me, it’s great to be here!

How does your music affect the world? I believe my music affects the world in a positive way through the messages and stories that I write about it. I always write from a place of truth, but even more so I make music that gives people a sense of hope and strength upon listening. My music is really about bringing people together and by being my most authentic self, I want others to strive to be their most authentic self. Who has been your biggest cheerleader as an artist?

I would have to say, my grandfather. He came from a very musical family, and I definitely inherited my love for music from him. He has always supported me all my life, even going as far as coming to my gigs and being the only 86 year old man at the bar cheering me on. His dream for me is to write music for film, and I want to fulfill that dream one day to honor his legacy. Tell us about your latest release! Oh yes!! I released my debut single “Never Gonna Be My Man” on November 20th, 2020. This was a song I wrote after meeting someone for the first time and thinking there was a deeper connection. I realized later on that he was in love with someone else. This song is about heartbreak upon realizing that someone you love will never love you back. I really loved writing this song and watching it evolve into what it is today. I am sure many of us have been in that place, so I hope you rock out to this and it can ease some of the pain. What are you most looking forward to this year? I am really looking forward to releasing a lot more music this year! I am excited to release music that I had recorded last year and enjoy the end of that chapter of my life. I have also been writing a lot of new music lately, so you can expect a lot from me in 2021. How do you find peace in an often chaotic world? Prayer and meditation. They allow me to align myself with what really matters and also keeps me grounded in my vision and purpose. Being in nature is another way I find peace being surrounded by so much beauty calms my mind and allows me to appreciate all that is in this world. And of course, I would also say spending time with family and friends has also given me peace in knowing that in spite of what is happening all around us, there are loving and meaningful relationships close by. What does "making it" mean to you? To me, making it means performing in audiences of thousands of people and hearing them sing back my songs to me. Performing is my passion, but my mission is to spread love and hope to humanity. Having my music resonate with people, and knowing it helped them or has given them peace in some way is making it for me. What have been some of your greatest achievements as an artist? I would say releasing my debut single “Never Gonna Be My Man’ (Extended Version). This song had been in the works for quite a while, and I really wanted to release it by the end of 2020. It was a significant moment for me because I chose to introduce myself to the music industry at such a time of uncertainty. It just validated my drive for my career and that if you want something bad enough you will fight for it. I think I will always remember that I released my first song during a global pandemic.
