Thank you for taking this interview! How has the New Year been for you so far as an artist?

It has been so awesome! I have been extremely busy with my live music bookings. My solo Whitney Houston Tribute show has been very popular and my Sleeke Chix female vocal trio group has been double and triple booked on multiple dates this year which is very exciting. We have performed at weddings, parties, hen dos and special events all over the UK and we have so much more in store! Can you tell us how you've transformed from the beginning to now as an artist? I have always loved to sing from as early as I can remember. I have been songwriting from the age of 6 and singing as early as 2 years old! I sing along to my favourite singers like Whitney Houston Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson Diana Ross Tina Turner Aretha Franklin, i’d imagine myself singing on stage one day. I created my first girl group when I was six in the school, and we performed our first show in the school cloakroom before school, and I’ve carried on growing and evolving over the years and now I have released several songs and EP, I have worked with many of The music industry greats, I toured with Soul II Soul for five years, I have been in music videos film TV, Cruise ships and theatre.I now have a Multi Award winning live music entertainment company called Sleeke entertainment which provides a wide range of live entertainment music for weddings, parties and all types of special events, which is a regularly booked and in high in demand. How did you come up with your latest project? I have a few really successful shows: My Whitney Houston tribute to Whitney Houston and my group Sleeke Chix Motown Glamour & Disco Diamonds where celebrate with the wonderful sounds of Motown, Soul and Disco combined with gorgeous vocals, sophisticated dance routines and glamorous costumes. They inspired me to create 3 new shows which I’ve recently released and are now available to book: Iconic Diva which celebrates the iconic soul divas that we all know and love including Beyoncé, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and many more. - 90s diva which features all of the 90s Soul divas including Mary J. Blige Faith Evans, Aaliyah, TLC & anymore - Big Bash which I’ll expand on below. Where are you from originally? I am of Jamaican decent Where do you live now? London Do you think where you live impacts how your music is made? No What was the inspiration to make music your career? I have always wanted to sing from as young as I can remember. I grew up listening Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Prince and all of the Soulful, Funk, Rnb greats and wanted to be just like them, sing their songs and also write my own songs and have my own music career too. How do you want to shape your career? I am currently working on new original songs and want to lean more into singing my own original material as well as performing covers. I love to support, develop and take other aspiring artists under my wing also and I enjoy seeing them blossom into who they are supposed to be. I am also developing and expanding my entertainment team and live shows to meet our clients demands which is an exciting position to be in. Do you work on a tight timeline always or do you go with the flow when it comes to your music? I always like to give myself lots of creative time so that I can produce the best quality possible, however I can also work to tight timeframes and can produce fantastic vocals under pressure. How did your latest title of your music come to be?

My latest single My Whole World was sort of a love letter inspired by my faith in God.

My latest show that is now available to book is called Sleeke Big Bash which features this song and a few hand picked unsigned original artists as well as all of the popular Soul, Disco, Pop, Motown, RnB hits of the decades that everyone knows and loves to party too. Is it hard to let go of the music when it is done? Most definitely, I am a perfectionist and always worry if what I have done is good enough, if I put my most my best creativity into it and worry if people like it etc et cetera Do you feel an emotional attachment with your music? Most definitely, every piece of music that I release is one of my babies and I feel very protective over them. I want the best for them and hope that people will like it -love it as much as I do and will receive everything I have put into it the way that I intended for them to receive it. How would you describe your music in one word to someone who hasn't listened to it yet? Inspirational Where do they go to listen NOW? What has been the best fan reaction to your music? I have received beautiful messages via email on YouTube and Facebook from fans around the world which are so touching and inspiring, it really does warm my heart and encourage me to continue especially during the times when it feels like no one really cares about my original music! My live music entertainment music has a five star rating on every platform including trustpilot Google and Facebook. My website, Instagram and Facebook is filled with video Testimonials from my clients that absolutely love my live entertainment shows. The things that my clients, their guests and audiences write and say about their experience of my life music has me shedding tears of joy. Is there anything exciting coming up for you? I am currently writing some new material which I’m really excited about and looking forward to releasing and performing live. Myself and my team are currently rehearsing for multiple big band bookings that we have coming up and I’m currently pushing myself and everyone to new levels. Every live performance is exciting for me, they’re always so different because I have such a variety of live entertainment shows available. Are you performing the song anywhere LIVE?
