Introducing Electric High:
Thank you for taking this interview! What has 2022 been like for YOU as an artist?
2022 has been getting out of the pandemic and recording new stuff. We got plenty of fresh new tunes coming soon.
Can you tell us how you've transformed from the beginning to now as an artist?
All five of us have been doing music for more than 30 years so that could be a long story :-) As for this band we are constantly working on finding our sound/ expression. Tor Helge joined us on drums early this year and that gave us an extra push. Musically we are pointing a bit clearer in one certain direction now.
How did you come up with your latest project?
Per Vidar was suffering from insomnia in Alta (far far up in Norway) and had been drinking for days when he called Einride saying " Ein, I finally know what to do! We need to start a new band, this time with two lead vocals!"
Where are you from originally?
We are from all over in Norway, Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansund and some outskirts you wouldn't find on maps.
Where do you live now?
Bergen and Oslo.
Do you think where you live impacts how your music is made?
Indeed, living in Bergen means more than 300 days with rain during a year. This is the perfect location to be indoors, writing songs.
What was the inspiration to make music your career?
Oh, that's a tough question... What counts for all of us is the urge to make and perform music, that goes beyond making a career.
How do you want to shape your career?
We will do our best to facilitate producing and presenting new music.
Do you work on a tight timeline always or do you go with the flow when it comes to your music?
We do follow a timeline set by yourself, sometimes it feels tight even though it might not seem like that for others.
How did your latest title of your music come to be?
The idea of Cyclone is based on a fierce "night out".
Is it hard to let go of the music when it is done?
Depends on who you ask :-) There“s always rounds of discussion before we let the final mix go, but that means everyone is happy and confident with the result.
Do you feel an emotional attachment with your music?
Yes, it's hard not to, isn't it?
How would you describe your music in one word to someone who hasn't listened to it yet?
Electrified!
Where do they go to listen NOW?

What has been the best fan reaction to your music?
That must be "this song is constantly on repeat here now"
Is there anything exciting coming up for you?
We are preparing our debut album these days.
Are you performing the song anywhere LIVE?
It's definitely on the set list, yes!
Give us all your socials and links so fans can link up with you! Thank you for this interview!
