You're right, Stacy! Pancakes are always a good idea!!

Hi Stacy! Great to have you here!

How does your music affect the world?

My music affects the world because I believe it is very relatable and hope that people can vibe with it, feel understood on a deep level that only music can make you feel understood on, feel the passion that I put into it, and dance and cry to it. I know my music can do that and the more people that hear it, the more I will affect the world! Who has been your biggest cheerleader as an artist?

My biggest cheerleader has always been my husband. He was the one to buy me my first recording mic and encourage me to record and sing. Though I've been singing my whole life, he really encouraged me to get into recording and use my talents and channel my passion. Every time I'm feeling too much, he encourages me to go into my studio at home and write in order to feel better. He drives me to recording sessions and sits through them and gives me feedback. He plays the one music video I have at every party we have to show me off. He's my cheerleader, always in my corner, and always helping me grow as an artist and a person. Tell us about your latest release! My latest release isn't out yet, I believe it's set to come out on February 19th but that could change as things have not been finalized. It's called "Come Home", and it's about, well a lot of things. For a long time now I've struggled with being alone. My husband works long hours and sometimes the loneliness just gets the better of me. In the song, I beg him to come home but I also talk about hallucinations and my imagination, alluding to the fact that I used Benadryl overdoses as a way to cope with being alone for a while. I would hallucinate on them and have weird experiences and wouldn't be able to sleep the entire night. They were nights of hell, but for some reason, I always went back to them when I couldn't take the pain of being alone. I see now that I could have called a friend but I have a very weird state of mine. One, I don't like bugging people, and two, I prefer harming myself to helping myself. It's something I have to work on. But yeah, this song is about wanting my husband to come home so that I didn't have to turn to the pills because I always ended up hating the experience afterward.

What are you most looking forward to in 2021?

In 2021, I'm most looking forward to writing a whole bunch of music to then pick and choose and create the perfect EP. I'm also looking forward to graduating from my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mental Health Psychology and really just seeing where Bsquared can take me.

How do you find peace in an often chaotic world?

I find peace in this chaotic world by listening to and making music. Listening to music often inspires me or gets me in the mood to make music and making music brings peace to my heart. It's like therapy to me. Sometimes I write out lyrics beforehand, but oftentimes I just sing whatever comes to my head which I feel is meant to come out of me, and then once it's out, it's like, I've said it, this must be true and it's almost like discovering things about yourself to heal yourself. Listening to music also helps me tune out the world and just focus on the music and that's how I cope with the chaos.

What does "making it" mean to you?

To me, "making it" means having my music heard by others in a meaningful way and being able to perform it for others. I've always felt like going to concerts creates this connection between you, the artist, and the other fans, and that's what I want to do is create that connection for other people.

What have been some of your greatest achievements as an artist?

As an artist, my greatest achievements have been performing my first show, which was so nerve wracking for me, as well as learning to be a producer for myself. Learning to make my own music has been a journey and though I don't always use my own beats, I have a good collection of songs I've completely written myself that I am very proud of. "Wreck My Soul was" one of them and I'm extremely proud of that track.

What is your favorite breakfast food?

My favourite breakfast food is pancakes. Though I never make them often, they are my favourite, I just never have time in the mornings, either from being too busy or waking up too late.
