New Music
Food Truck

Out of Colorado and on to WORLD Domination, the New Music Food Truck takes us along for a Stellar Musical Ride!

Thank you for being part of our zine. Tell us more about your beginnings in the industry!

Thanks for having us. We are a couple of Radio vets that have about 50 years of combined experience. We wanted to create a show that gavelisteners a chance to hear bands and artists that weren't being featured on mainstream radio. The New Music Food Truck was an opportunity to showcase that music in an interesting format.

Where are you located now and where are you originally from?

We are based in Colorado but the show is syndicated every week worldwide on 27 stations and found on all major podcast platforms.

Goals for 2020 and beyond?

We are working to expand and grow the New Music Food Truck to more radio outlets and podcast listeners. We are also looking to create a live traveling concert showcase for the bands that we feature.

What have been the specific challenges in your career so far?

We started out on a little am radio station in San Antonio and the biggest challenge was finding more outlets to build our base and give our show a chance to grow.

What have been the greatest achievements so far?

We went from a show on a small am station to being on 27 stations around the world and carried on all major podcast platforms. We were nominated for an ISSA Award in 2019. We also have played several songs from then
unknown artists that have gone on to be #1 chart hits!

Where can our readers catch up with you out there soon?

We can be found on all socials at @newmusicfoodtrk and online at

Please answer the following: "If our fans really knew us, they
would know that... "

We support music from all bands and artists. We take the time to listen to everything that is sent to us. If we like what you send, we will play it.

Who are your top inspirations?

Being radio geeks we loved the way Kasey Kasem shared new music and ntroduced bands/artists with bits of information each week on American Top 40! We try to do that with every New Music Food Truck show.

Having accomplished so much in your career, are there more dreams you hope to conquer?

Yes, we would like to continue to grow our brand and eventually take the New Music Food Truck to the next level complete with music festivals and other opportunities.

Any words of wisdom for your fans out there?

Look for good music everywhere and not just the usual places. Support young bands, because all of the R’nR hall of famers were just unknown music makers in the beginning that listeners took a chance to support!

Please list your social media links so our readers can follow you everywhere!
