Talks UK to HOLLYWOOD and...
New Movie Cash Collectors
Thank you for being part of our zine. Tell us more about your beginnings in the industry!
My first introduction to acting and film was from my dad, he was the first person who introduced me to the great actors and films of the 1950’s era and even further back to the 1940’s. I remember watching together films such as Marilyn Monroe in Some like it hot and Gentlemen prefer Blondes, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman Cat on a hot tin roof, The great Sunset Boulevard “All right Mr Deville, I’m ready for my closeup”, The Apartment, Casablanca and more! Just being completely memorised with the performances and with film itself in how magical and fascinating it was to me it was from there my passion started in acting and film and it hasn’t stopped since.
I went to drama school then moved on to plays. As much as I love theatre it is without a doubt the most rewarding experience to have my heart and passion is and has always been in film which is what brought me to Los Angeles today.
Where are you located now and where are you originally from?
I am located in Los Angeles right now I’m originally from London UK. I still travel back and forth but right now I am living in Los Angeles.
Goals for 2019 and beyond?
My goals for the future are to just keep growing and working hard. To watch your progress from a year to now is a great feeling for anyone in any industry and a reminder to keep believing in yourself and continue working hard for what you love
What have been the specific challenges in your career so far? What have been the greatest achievements so far?
Challenges so far would have been moving to a completely different country but at the same time I see that as an achievement. Of course, like anyone would be I was nervous as I never done a big move like this before but at the same time, I was just too excited and looking forward to see what the future holds.
Where can our readers catch up with you out there soon?
I have just finished the film “Cash Collectors” which will be out soon! I am also in the middle of filming “The Whip” which will be released next year.
I’m working on a few more projects that I’m very excited about and will be releasing more information soon!
Please answer the following... "If my fans really knew me, they would know that... "
I am a huge Marilyn Monroe fan when I was watching “Some like it hot” my first reaction was “who is that?!” her performance and her presence was so endearing to me I just had to know more.
Who are your top inspirations?
Marilyn Monroe. Her legendary still lives today wherever you go her picture is somewhere, people still remember her and adore her for her immense talent and who she was. She is the epitome of Hollywood. But she wanted to be known more than just the “sexy blonde” she worked tremendously hard in her acting and in herself to be the actress she wanted to be and continued to push herself more and more. Her courage and persistence are something I will always admire her for and for that and much more she is my idol.
Having accomplished so much in your career, are there more dreams you hope to conquer?
I just want to keep growing, creating and pushing myself in my career
Any words of wisdom for your fans out there?
